Wish I was here …

… here being specifically in the hot air balloon gliding over stunning landscapes, away from the madding crowd. This would be my ideal escape.  Aerial view and the awe would surely quiet this chaotic mind of mine 🙂

The reason?

Author Janice Horton is celebrating the release of her new novel Reaching for the Stars – which launches today!

Look out for Janice guesting on my blog on Saturday.

  1. Oh yes, it would be so quiet and peaceful up there floating about – maybe just the sound of the breeze and the birds. An excellent 'Wish I Was Here…' choice!
Thank you Shaz for your support and best wishes for Reaching for the Stars.
    Love, Janice xx

  2. Part of me would love to try that and the other part is terrified as I have a fear of heights. And yet it must be such a freeing experience, flying away like that! x

  3. Janice, hope today has gone really well 🙂

Kit – yep, am reaching for those stars!

    Mandy – where there's a will there's a way …

Carol – no I haven't but would LOVE to!

  4. What a lovely photo and I am sure it would be a great place to be, but for me I hate heights, so I'd be grounded whilst waving to you up there 🙂 Wishing Janice fantastic success. Sending sunny smiles to you both x

  5. Yay! I've sky-dived, does that count as Reaching for the Stars? My son booked it for my b'day, bless his caring?? socks. Course, I was in tandem, with a man, who sugggested a kiss for the photos after. Absolutely, I said, turning around after he unbuckled me – to give him a very snotty nosed smooch. Memories… Ahhh!
